We must obtain a NATIONAL INTEREST EXCEPTION for you to be able to travel or obtain a visa.
It is essential that EVERY INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANT from China, Iran, Europe’s Schengen region, United Kingdom/Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and India immediately send the following information:

NIE Waivers can take up to 5 days to be approved.
Additionally, in advance of travel, travelers who have questions about their Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS), I-94 Arrival and Departure Record, and the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) should contact the Traveler Communications Center (TCC) at (202) 325-5120 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The TCC serve as a 24/7 resource for traveler compliance and a central place to address common questions for those traveling to the United States using four Admissibility and Passenger Programs (serving both citizens and non-citizens): Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS), I-94 Arrival and Departure Record, and the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP).
COVID Protocols for All Adjudicators, Athletes and Essential Support Individuals participating in the WDC World Professional Ballroom Showdance October 30, 2021
1: Proof of Negative Test no more than 3 days before travel to the USA or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States.
2: While Traveling All Adjudicators, Athletes and Essential Support Individuals are required to wear a mask over nose and mouth on planes, buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation traveling into, within, or out of the United States and while indoors at U.S. transportation hubs such as airports and stations.
3: All International attendees must wear a mask over the nose and mouth in all public areas except while actively competing in the event.
4: Follow all recommendations and requirements at your destination, including mask wearing and social distancing.
5: Once daily temperature checks for all World Showdance Competitors and Adjudicators
6: Avoid crowds when possible and stay at least 6 feet/2 meters from anyone not traveling with you.
7: Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol).
8: Before return – all international travelers must get tested. There is a Walgreens directly across the street from the event venue. No appointment is necessary for this test.
9: Upon return to your home country
Get tested with a viral test 3-5 days after travel.
Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms; isolate and get tested if you develop symptoms.
Follow all state and local recommendations or requirements after travel.

- All local government guidelines in effect at the time of the event should be enforced
- Largest Ballroom available on property
- Separate tables for every studio group with hand sanitizer on all tables.
- Sanitization/Cleaning of ballroom between all sessions
- Hand sanitizing stations at all entrances
- Largest possible floor to increase social distancing possibilities of couples
- Check-in limited to one studio at a time at the desk
- Separate awards center for all single dance awards
- Separate entrance and exit – if this is not possible use stanchions to separate entrance/exit
